To deepen red education and consolidate team strength, on December 6th, Shenxi Machinery Group Co., Ltd. organized all its employees to go to Shajiabang for a one-day team-building activity. From the ecological stroll in Nanhu Wetland Park to the spiritual cleansing at the Revolutionary History Memorial Hall, and then to the live-action drama experience of "The Flames of the Reed Marsh", everyone strengthened their beliefs and enhanced their friendship in the integration of nature and history, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality development of the enterprise.
In the morning, I came to Nanhu Wetland Park. As the most beautiful ecological restoration case in Jiangsu Province and a national educational nature base, this 24-square-kilometer wetland is home to 150 species of birds. The workers gathered in groups of three or five, breathing in the fresh air rich in negative oxygen ions, enjoying the wetland landscape with tall metasequoias and overgrown calamus, and sharing interesting stories from their work and life. The immersive experience soothes the tense working nerves, and the distance between teams is also quietly shortened in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
Before lunch, Mr. Wu gave a brief speech. After 38 years of development, Shenxi encountered a harsh industry winter from 2023 to 2025 due to the economic downturn. However, in the difficult situation, most of the employees still remained true to their original intentions and loyal to the company. In the afternoon, the workers entered the Shajiabang Revolutionary History Memorial Hall. Under the guidance of the tour guide, through precious historical photos, physical exhibits and vivid scene restorations, everyone gained a deep understanding of the heroic deeds of the military and civilians in Shajiabang who were as close as fish and water and fought side by side during the Anti-Japanese War. Those deeply touching revolutionary stories have deeply moved every employee, who have all expressed their determination to carry forward the red genes, integrate the fighting spirit of the revolutionary predecessors into their daily work, and take on responsibilities with greater enthusiasm.
After the visit, all the staff went to watch the large-scale live-action drama "The Flames of the Reed Marsh". Based on the true story of the unity and resistance against Japanese aggression between the military and civilians in Shajiabang, the drama recreates the heroic years when revolutionary martyrs fought bravely against the enemy in the reed marshes. When the sound of gunfire was deafening and flames shot up into the sky, the workers felt as if they were on the battlefield, truly experiencing the heroic spirit of the revolutionary predecessors who were not afraid of powerful enemies and fought bravely. This grand audio-visual feast has enabled everyone to have a deeper understanding of "unity is strength", and has also deeply engraved the red gene in everyone's heart. The employees expressed their determination to carry forward the red spirit, take the revolutionary predecessors as role models, stay at their posts, be courageous in taking on responsibilities and strive for progress.
This trip to Shajiabang is not only a leisure journey to get close to nature and relax the body and mind, but also a red education that refines the original aspiration and unites strength.
